Meanwhile, the consumption of bottled water has exploded, with people in the UK alone consuming 2.6 billion litres in 2014.

OUR STORY
Sterwater International was founded by Maurice Visser, industrial engineer in biochemistry. Maurice Visser comes from a family of seasoned entrepreneurs, starting in 1892 with his great-grandfather, who created the family business in Oud-Beijerland. The company produced canned and frozen foods in family-owned factories, trading all over Europe through their own distribution network.
In the sixties, the company created the iconic Suzi Wan product line, focused on Asian food. In 1980, after enjoying spectacular international growth, the Suzi Wan company was sold to Mars Inc.
In the last decades, the company has focused on developing sustainable concepts for filtering water streams.
Today, backed by a solid track record creating innovative water filtration technology, Sterwater International develops water filtration products for the consumer market.
